3sixteen and Crescent Down Works created a new version of their Down Shirt silhouette, a solid winter layer packed with 5oz of 700 fill power goose down. The shell of the jacket is constructed out of vintage military fabrics with each panel specifically cut and arranged by hand to create a patchwork-like look with varying shades of olive. This also means that no two jackets are alike.
Featuring matching front chest pockets, double needle construction and a straight back yoke, the Utility Workshirt is a classic workwear silhouette with a modern fit. For FW20, we paired this style with a plaid flannel that is woven in Japan; the fabric has been brushed for comfort and a soft hand. Made in the USA.
The Shop Jacket is designed with a nod towards classic European chore coats. For F20 we’ve paired it with a hefty wide wale corduroy from Japan. Horn buttons with a stamped southwestern motif finish the jacket off. Made in the USA.
Our Type 3s denim jacket pays homage to the classic Type III design with a few notable differences. The body has been slightly lengthened, and we’ve added hand pockets that are lined with 100% cotton 8oz twill pocketbags. Absent from the jacket are the standard Type III back seams and waist cinches; we opted to give the back of the jacket a cleaner design by replacing the original yoke with our trademark crossed back. This Type 3s Jacket features a 12oz raw ecru selvedge denim that has been given a hot wash and line dry for added softness.
The Fatigue Overshirt is our interpretation of the quintessential Army fatigue shirt. For FW20, we opted to panel two shades of olive HBT fabric for a playful take on the classic military piece. This shirt can serve as a light jacket on cooler fall days, and provides lots of warmth as a primary layer underneath an overcoat. Made in the USA.
