    Our crumple dyed tees are all hand dyed in natural indigo by Green Matters Natural Dye Company in PA. Each tee is crumpled and indigo dyed by hand which gives the shirt a beautiful greyish-blue hue with beautiful color texture and inconsistency up close. Please note that due to the nature of natural dye no two tees are exactly the same – some are more discreet and others are crazier. The tees feature the same 225gsm jersey fabric and construction details found on our standard tees. Due to the wash process, these tees have a softer more broken-in hand than our standard tees. Made in USA. A jersey fabric custom knit in Canada. Triple needle coverstitched collar. Chest pocket. Made in USA.

    Information

    The fit has a roomy top block with a tapered leg, and is cut with a short inseam and longer rise. For FW22, we worked with a mill in India to develop a sashiko fabric specifically for this piece. The fabric utilizes deep, inky indigo-dyed yarns and a sashiko pattern woven in that is reminiscent of Japanese hand repairs. Over time, the fabric will fade in areas of high wear to a lighter blue. Made in India.

    NOTE: This garment is dyed with an abundance of indigo and as such, will bleed onto lighter-colored garments and upholstery at first. Please make sure to wash this item with darker items at first. The indigo bleed will go away over time as the garment is worn.

    SIZING: Please note that our measurements are taken with the waist laid flat with no stretch. The elastic waist can stretch up to 4″. We recommend taking the same size as our tops for the standard fit or one size up for a more relaxed fit.

    Information

    The fabric is then cut and sewn in San Francisco, CA in the same factory where our jeans are made. The tees have a triple needle coverstitched “Never Sag” collar that stays tight around the neck over extended wears. T-shirts ship in packs of two.

    Note: These tees are now constructed using mill-laundered jersey and shrinkage is minimal. Please check the updated measurement chart to determine your sizing.

    Information

    The fabric clocks in at 400gsm and is custom knit for us in Canada. Unlike our standard heavyweight fleece which is brushed on the underside, this is a french terry with a towel-like feel where the yarn loops are left intact. We’ve removed the front kangaroo pocket and replaced it with hidden gusset pockets along the side seams for added functionality and a cleaner look. Made in Canada.

    SIZING: Please note that with the garment dye that’s been done, all shrinkage has been removed. So long as they are washed in cold water and hang dried, they will not shrink any further.
